Donald E. L. Johnson

This morning's Wall Street Journal editorial page reports that Cato gives Owens one of two A's handed out to governors, but it says that if his current efforts to dilute TABOR had been taken into account, he would have fallen in the rankings. The Journal is down on Owens, who's been bad for small business for years.

Today's WSJ.com (paid sub required) editorial on rating the governors is at: http://online.wsj.com/article/0,,SB110964266317966659,00.html?mod=opinion%5Fmain%5Freview%5Fand%5Foutlooks

"If Bill Owens were judged just by his recent attempts to alter Colorado's tax limitation law, he would not be considered A material. Florida's Jeb Bush, who earned an A two years ago, has slipped to a B after endorsing more bloated budgets."

MIKE MILES SHOULD BE THE NEXT GOVERNOR!!! Mike Miles for Governor!

Joe Rall

I heard that former Fremont County Commissioner Joe Rall is considering a run for State Treasurer. He's a small business owner, an Action22 activist, and a fighter. What do you think?

Alva, there seem to be quite a few more passionate people interested in congressional races than in the gov's race. any thoughts on why?

Alva Adams

It may just be that we've talked alot about governor here and haven't spent as muchg time with congressional races.
