Marc Holtzman just e-mailed to let us know that he has NOT
formally announced a run for governor, despite media reports
to the contrary.
Remember, "looking into running," and "considering it," are
alot different than having announced a candidacy. Former
congressman Scott McInnis has NOT announced, either. For all
intents and purposes, Holtzman is running, but until a
formal announcement is made he can decide against running
without formally needing to back out.
Yea, apparently the Pueblo Chieftain has announced for several candidates today, including Holtzman and McInnis.

Who's advising Holtzman? Whoever it is, he's paying them too much. What a cluster for your candidate to walk into. A story hits everywhere that he announced he's running, then apparently he e-mails around that he hasn't actually announced he's running. One local TV station went with the story he was running in their late afternoon broadcast, but it wasn't on later in the evening (they must have gotten an e-mail too). The Denver Post seems to have pulled their story on this as well. I'm sure the media will really appreciate him for this. Maybe Holtzman he should be more worried about campaigns that look like jokes instead of tree-hugging liberals.

Maybe Alfalfa needs to take a chill pill over this.

Holtzman advisor: the ghost of his poor dead puppy. He has been a shell of a man since poor Winston passed away. . .

You may want yo ask Mark Holtzman again if he is running because he has filled out a candidate affidavit with the Sec. of State saying that he is a candidate.

Of course Holtzman is running. Of course McInnis is bluffing. Of course, Beauprez is pondering. Beauprez was the man of choice by the power structure because they believe he is the only one that can beat Hick. If Hick doesn't run, and it is pretty clear that he will NOT, and Beauprez backs out due to Presidential and other DC pressure, then both fields are pretty weak, and it looks like a race between two multi-millionaires, Holtzman and Bridges. What a choice. They can both spend their millions seeking a $100,000 job.

Marc will never win as governor of Colorado because he is not a strong candidate. He basically lacks practical solutions and creative ideas to overcome the myriad of problems facing Colorado voters.

I was at a dinner last night for the University of Denver College Republicans where Holtzman spoke and he clearly stated that he was running. His campaign team was even there!! HOLTZMAN '06!!
